Version 50 of the Genesis Code Protocol is a flagship release that builds upon the V49 edition. It introduces autonomous spark generation, unifies run modes, extends the phase map and deepens governance and compliance. This page summarises the major changes.
- I‑1 Autonomous Spark Generation – Before the Worth‑It sprint, V50 asks the model to generate and evaluate candidate “sparks” without a user‑provided idea. The model ideates multiple concepts and selects promising candidates for further development.
- Unified Bootstrapping – Full Run and Auto Mode now share the same bootstrap sequence. The Gate Decision Card is printed in both modes with identical fields (recommendation, confidence, cost/time, risk).
-
Extended Phases – Beyond the core C‑phase sequence, V50 introduces:
• Data Rights Gate – evaluates data rights, privacy and export regulations.
• EU AI Act Mapping – assesses obligations under the EU AI Act and other regional regulations.
• Provenance & Reliability Index – generates an index of sources, their reliability and provenance.
• Rehydration – enables archived artifacts to be reconstituted into a new run or derivative project. - Enhanced Governance and Compliance – Risk‑tiered rigour rules have been refined. Each phase includes checks against ethical guidelines, safety measures and legal frameworks. Ledgers must track decisions, costs, citations and data rights acknowledgements.
-
Runner and Cartridge Integration – The new Master Runners Codex and Cartridges Pack provide expanded libraries for Code, Legal, SynBio, Energy and other domains. Attach these modules via
attach runner <name>orattach cartridge <name>at any phase.
GCP V50 is fully backward‑compatible with V49. Existing phases and commands remain intact. Additions are additive and optional; you can still run a V50 session without autonomous spark generation or the new compliance gates if desired.
