Whitelist

Exempt trusted users, roles, channels, categories, and domains.

Whitelisted entities are never moderated. If a message's author, role, channel, or category is whitelisted, the message is skipped entirely. Whitelisted domains are always allowed even when external-link blocking is on.

Types & limits

Type Free tier Premium
Users up to 3 Unlimited
Domains up to 3 Unlimited
Roles 🔒 Premium Unlimited
Channels 🔒 Premium Unlimited
Categories 🔒 Premium Unlimited

Adding entries

Discord: /whitelist add type:url target:example.com

Dashboard: the Whitelist tab has a picker for roles/channels/categories (populated live) and inputs for users (by ID) and domains.

Domain normalization

Domains are normalized so they match reliably. These all become example.com:

  • EXAMPLE.com

So you only need to whitelist the bare domain once - http/https, www., and paths are handled automatically.

Removing entries

/whitelist remove type:url target:example.com, or the Remove button in the dashboard. Removing a URL also cleans up any legacy un-normalized form.
